Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF) is excited to announce our annual winter fundraiser! This year, we invite you to join us at San Miguel Chapel for a presentation and musical performance by Lone Piñon. This special fundraiser supports both the Foundation and the preservation of San Miguel Chapel, one of the oldest churches in the United States. The evening will begin with a brief history of San Miguel presented by Chapel Director Laurianne Fiorentino. Then, at 6:00 PM, attendees will enjoy a performance by Lone Piñon, a well-regarded New Mexican musical ensemble known for their engaging musical lectures that combine traditional New Mexican music with historical insights.

The sala, or main living room, of the Edwin Brooks House serves as the venue for this intimate buffet-style dinner. This inviting space embodies the distinctive designs and craftsmanship of William Penhallow Henderson, showcasing hand-adzed wooden beams, elaborately carved radiator covers, an interior balustrade balcony, and Henderson's signature rose motif. This fundraiser supports the preservation of architectural gems like the Edwin Brooks House and HSFF educational initiatives promoting Northern New Mexico’s diverse cultural heritage. Tickets here.

This walking tour offers a unique opportunity to explore three historic properties along Canyon Road. Participants will meet at the Historic Santa Fe Foundation’s El Zaguán where they will embark on a guided history tour of both El Zaguán and the adjacent Edwin Brooks House at 553 Canyon Road. After delving into the rich history of these two significant properties, the group will enjoy a quick stroll up Canyon Road to visit the Olive Rush Studio and Art Center at 630 Canyon Road. This stop highlights the artistic heritage of the area, showcasing the works and contributions of renowned artist Olive Rush. The tour will culminate with an intimate buffet-style dinner in the inviting sala of the Edwin Brooks House, providing participants with a chance to reflect on the day's discoveries and engage in conversation about Santa Fe's vibrant cultural and architectural history.
